Service and warranty

All new products have 2 year standard warranty. There are some suppliers who even supply an extended warranty period! You can find this information on the product detail page. If anything happens to the products you bought from us within the warranty period, we will do our best to help you get it repaired or replaced.

Malfunctioning in the first 14 days or at delivery

Is your product already broken at delivery, or did it break down within 14 days by no fault of your own? Then we'll replace the defective product with no additional costs (as long as we can still get a replacement from our suppliers). All you have to do is send an e-mail to or call our customer service, +31 555 380 800, and explain the situation. We'll try our best to get it resolved fast and adequate.


The following defects aren't coverd by the 2 year standard warranty (unless specificied otherwise):

  • Broken displays
  • Defects caused by improper use
  • Moisture or water damage
  • Fall or impact damage

Request a repair

We're sorry to hear that the product you bought at CameraTools gave up on you. But not to worry, it can often be restored by repairing it. If you fill out the form below, we'll investigate the possibilities for your product to be repaired. We'll get in touch with you as soon as possible!

It is possible that we will have to charge you for repairing your product. For instance when the 2 year warranty has expired, or if the damage done falls in the exceptions to the standard warranty. A brief explanation:

  • We will not reimburse the costs you make to ship your defective item to us. You're free to drop them off at our store in Apeldoorn if you happen to be in the neighbourhood.
  • We will ship your repaired product without any additional costs to you as long as it's within the warranty period.
  • If you send us a product outside of the standard warranty period, or a product that hasn't been bought at CameraTools,  for repairs, we will have to charge a shipping and administration fee of € 20,-.
  • Defects which are mentioned in the exceptions cannot be repaired under warranty. We will get in touch with you about the costs for repair of your product. Do keep in mind that research costs, which will always be charged, can go up to € 60,- depending on the type of product.
  • You receive a 3-month warranty on the fixed problem after repairs, specifically on the fixed problem.

Repairs can take up to 4, 5 weeks. You will receive a notification once we have received the repaired product and when we are ready to ship it to you.
